Impressive. The Seal recruiters came to us in boot camp in San Diego and I really wanted to test myself but I wore glasses at the time and there was nothing like the available corrective eye surgeries they have today back then so I didn't want to waste everyone's time. Even if I had been able to get through the extremely demanding physical side there was no way I'd put my teammates in that kind of danger because if I lost my glasses and couldn't see well enough, it could cost me or some or even all of my teammates' lives. Besides, no one in charge would have been stupid enough to let me try anyway so I went the technical side in Submarines instead.

Damn, that was surprisingly honest. I thought this guy was full of shit the first time I saw him, but he is actually kinda awesome. I never figured I'd be inspired by a guy with head tattoos and multiple felony convictions, yet here we are.

I have served in nato forces, but I can relate to his story. Most of us were criminals looking for structure in life. Safe place. Thanks for honesty.

I hear a story about seals being of such crazy high character, yet they get in the news for murdering marsoc marines, selling drugs and war crimes to civilians. It is hard to know what is the truth...

I been following this dude since right before he got out the legion! He does his shit on one take unlike all utubers n he is a honestly n real not hiding what he is and done! That is growing n being a man im sure you didn’t do shit compared to him!

I served in both theaters. I am proud to have done my part, but can whole heartedly say.. fuck the military.

This title does an extreme disservice to this man. “…leaves him DEVASTATED” is so tacky, frustrating, and disrespectful. The title is the type I would see on a gaming video or some product review, not on a video of a veteran describing their own traumatic experience. These stories need to be held and presented as something with weight and importance, which this title does not do at all. Shame on this channel.

There will always be war, it is what mankind always does, always finds justification for doing. Sometimes there is no alternative, but not every time, obviously. I feel you, man. I returned from Vietnam in '69, as both a cavalry combat medic and the commander of a M113 ACAV riding a Ma Deuce. I still haven't figured it out.
